The Dogwood Springs HOA is a deed restricted community. This means there are Restrictive Covenants or Deed Restrictions for all HOA lots. They are a set of standards for building on a property whether it maybe a residence, barn, shed, fence or other structure (permanent or portable). The purpose is to ensure a uniform plan for the development and maintenance of our community. You can find a copy of the Restrictive Covenants by going to the Resource Center – Governing Documents subpage.
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is a HOA Committee established to ensure the Restrictive Covenants are honored. Prior to initiating any construction, whether a residence or other structure, an owner must submit an ACC Application, and undergo an ACC review and approval process. You can find the ACC Construction Application form on the Construction Application subpage, guidance and application for construction of structures in the Pineywoods Lake on the Lakefront Owners Construction subpage, and the Miscellaneous subpage contains flagpole requirements and the notification process for deed restriction violations.
If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to a HOA Board Officer or ACC Committee Member.
